Swat:-

Swat is a most beautiful valley in Pakistan that’s why it is called Switzerland of Asia. It is located in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Geographical Information:-

The valley of Swat is present in the middle of the foothills of the Hindukush mountain range. It is an integral part of the strategic and significant region where China, Central Asia, and South Asia are connected to one another.

Latitude: 34 degrees to 35 degrees North

Longitude: 72 degrees to 74 degrees East.

 

Places of Swat:-

Swat has a combination of many attractive places but some of them are the following:

1) Malam Jabba:-

 Malam Jabba is situated in Swat Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. It is the longest Ski Resort in Pakistan where every year the Winter Festival is held in which many things are included such as mountain climbing, ice skating, ice bike racing, horse riding, etc.

2) Fizagat:-

 

Fizagat is another tourist point in Swat. It is situated at a distance of one kilometer from Mingora city. Fizagat has a recreational park by the name of “Fizagat Park” that is located in the vicinity of Mingora city. The park was established in 1984 at the cost of 3.5 million rupees. It is divided into separate sections for families, women, and children.

There are many things including a zoo, cable cars, lift chairs, riverboats, etc.

Dishes of Swat:-

1) Chapli Kabab:-

Chapli kabab is one best and most delicious food in Swat. The ingredients of the dish are garam masala, flour, red chili powder, tomatoes, mashed eggs, ginger, onions, salt, oil, baking powder, etc.

2) Swat Trout Fish:-

Trout Fish are found in freshwater. These fishes are very famous in Pakistan as well as in foreign countries because of their terrific taste.

Swat is the best place for breeding trout fishes. The people of Swat serve it with naan (Roti).

Culture of Swat:-

The People of Swat are mostly the Yousafzai tribe of Pashtuns. Some of them are Hindus and Sikhs. They believe in Buddhism and their culture follows the rule of Mauryan Emperor Ashoka.

1)Bahrain Valley:

Bahrain is situated in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa, Swat 60 kilometers away from Mingora. It is at the height of 4700 feet from sea level. It is famous as Mini Switzerland because it is a combination of two beautiful lakes which are Darsal and Swat. There are two most important things to do:

 Handicraft of Bahrain:-

People in Swat achieved perfection in craftsmanship for example Sculptures and sceneries on rocks reflect their traditions. They are also famous for embroideries shawls, attractive stylish clothes, wooden houses, and well design products as shown in the picture

Bridge of Bahrain:-

It is built in Bahrain one of the nice places to visit. This place is famous for its amazing views in the morning and There is also a lake of greenish water So, Do not forget to visit this God-gifted gorgeous creation.

2)Best time to visit:-

The best time to visit Swat is in December because 
winter bell clapper in December. The lowest temperature is recorded at 32 Fahrenheit during this month. The weather is too pleasant and the humidity of this month makes the environment enjoyable for tourists.

3) Photography best time:-

Swat daytime is awesome in that you can capture beautiful scenes of nature

with your respective camera. So, try to take photographs in the sunlight like this picture below

4) Best vehicle for Swat Trip:-

Swat has many mountainous areas in which roads are slippery, snowy mostly

So, choose those vehicles which are capable of driving on these roads. One thing to keep in your mind select a vehicle that has a maximum seating capacity. like this vehicle in the picture
